Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity where you'll engage with elementary, middle, and high school students as a School Psychologist through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position, running Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours each week, will have you making a tangible impact by conducting reevaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, functional behavioral assessments, and some initial evaluations. You'll play a vital role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth across a diverse caseload, collaborating closely with staff and families to ensure every student receives the support they need.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Current School Psychologist certification or license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Strong understanding of best practices in student assessment and intervention
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
  • Confidence conducting assessments and leading multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Adaptability to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and different age groups

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychoeducational assessments, including functional behavioral assessments and eligibility reviews
  • Participating in and leading multidisciplinary team meetings to determine appropriate student supports
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to create intervention plans
  • Providing recommendations and resources designed to enhance students' educational experiences
  • Documenting findings and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Offering professional expertise on mental health, learning, and behavior
