Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and credentialed School Psychologists for a full-time hybrid position with our partner school districts in the Vallejo, California area. This unique role offers a combination of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility while supporting student success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

To be considered, candidates must meet all California state and local requirements, including:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution

  • Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)

  • Prior school-based experience preferred

  • Completion of supervised internship/practicum in a school setting

  • Strong knowledge of California education laws, special education procedures, and assessment tools

  • Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance

  • Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this hybrid role typically include:

  • Conducting psychoeducational assessments (both in-person and remotely)

  • Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations based on evaluation data

  • Supporting the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)

  • Offering remote and/or on-site counseling services to students

  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and school staff to promote positive student outcomes

  • Assisting with behavior intervention plans and crisis response as needed

  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
