Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and credentialed School Psychologists for a full-time hybrid position with our partner school districts in the Vallejo, California area. This unique role offers a combination of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility while supporting student success.
To be considered, candidates must meet all California state and local requirements, including:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
Prior school-based experience preferred
Completion of supervised internship/practicum in a school setting
Strong knowledge of California education laws, special education procedures, and assessment tools
Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance
Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities for this hybrid role typically include:
Conducting psychoeducational assessments (both in-person and remotely)
Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations based on evaluation data
Supporting the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
Offering remote and/or on-site counseling services to students
Collaborating with teachers, families, and school staff to promote positive student outcomes
Assisting with behavior intervention plans and crisis response as needed
Maintaining accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
