Make a meaningful impact supporting students and school communities as a school psychologist on a full-time contract assignment for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this onsite position, youll be valued for your expertise in psychoeducational assessment, counseling, and collaborative problem-solving across general and special education settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in school psychology (or higher), with state certification as a School Psychologist
• At least two years of relevant experience, including an internship or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Deep understanding of psychoeducational evaluation tools and interpretation
• Experience collaborating with teachers, parents, administrators, and external agencies
• Clear communication skills for preparing detailed assessment reports and presenting findings
• Proficient in managing data, maintaining records, and adhering to all required documentation standards
• Physical ability to perform duties that may include sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
• Strong interpersonal skills with an adaptable, calm demeanor under stress or deadlines

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and communicate findings to parents and educators
• Prepare and deliver professional reports on student assessments
• Provide individual and group counseling, supporting students mental health and promoting positive behavior
• Attend IEP meetings and collaborate in the development of support plans
• Offer consultations to staff and families; participate in Student Assessment Teams and crisis management initiatives
• Coordinate with community medical and social service providers for holistic support
• Stay current on best practices and legislative updates related to school psychology
• Complete necessary forms for reimbursement and maintain confidential records
