We are currently hiring a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to serve a K-12 caseload in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time, onsite position offers a supportive environment and the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and students to enhance learning and promote positive mental health.

Position Overview:

• Location: Virginia Beach, VA

• Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

• Caseload: K-12 students

• Contract Duration: 25/26 School Year

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans

• Provide direct counseling and mental health services to students, as needed

• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies to improve student learning and behavior

• Assist in crisis intervention and response efforts within the school setting

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology or related field

• Valid Virginia School Psychologist license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred

• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
