Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a licensed School Psychologist to support a partnering school district in Corpus Christi, Texas. This full-time opportunity is open to both local candidates seeking long-term, school-year placement and travel clinicians looking for flexible, high-compensation contracts.

Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll support K–12 students with a variety of mental health, academic, and behavioral needs. As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to evaluations, IEP development, counseling, and ongoing student progress monitoring.

Employment Options:

Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):

  • Consistent full school-year placement (August–May)

  • Weekly pay: $42–$50/hour, based on experience and credentials

Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

  • Flexible, short-term contracts (4–12 weeks or by semester)

  • Weekly pay: $47–$58+/hour, depending on travel status, certification, and experience

  • Weekly gross: $1,900–$2,500, including tax-free stipends (if qualified)

  • Housing, meals/per diem, and travel reimbursements available

  • Licensure support across states (ASHA-certified travelers encouraged to apply)

  • Ideal for high-impact clinicians seeking flexibility and premium compensation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations in individual and small-group settings

  • Provide counseling and behavioral support

  • Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in accordance with Texas state and district guidelines

  • Collaborate with special educators, general education teachers, and families

  • Maintain accurate and timely service documentation, reports, and compliance records

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology

  • Active Texas School Psychologist License (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Prior school-based experience preferred

  • Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
