School Job Opportunity: Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Adrian, MI

2025–2026 School Year

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for a full-time position in Adrian, MI for the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Details:

• Location: Adrian, MI

• Start Date: August 18, 2025

• End Date: May 29, 2026

• Hours: Full-Time

• Caseload:

• K–12 Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) classroom within the LISD

• Most students are mainstreamed in General Education classes

• One high school student attends a half-day program at LISD TECH Center (9 miles from the main site—mileage reimbursement may be available)

• School Hours:

• MS/HS: 7:50 AM – 2:40 PM

• Elementary: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Requirements:

• EIPA score of 4.0 or higher

• Licensed as an interpreter in Michigan through LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs)

Note: If the candidate has an EIPA score between 3.5–3.9 and has tested within the last 24 months and completed CEUs, the district director may pursue a waiver to allow employment.
