A school district in Adrian, Michigan is hiring a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Responsibilities:

Interpret spoken English into ASL and signed language into spoken English

Facilitate effective communication within academic and extracurricular environments

Collaborate with educational staff to support individualized learning

Provide consistent, high-quality interpretation across school settings

Maintain logs and service records
Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interpretation, Deaf Studies, or a related area

Completion of an interpreter training program
-
Michigan registry or state certification for interpreters
-
Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
