Full-Time Sign Language Interpreter Needed for 2025-2026 School Year near Arlington Heights, IL

We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Sign Language Interpreter for the 2025-2026 school year in Gages Lakes, just 40 minutes from Arlington Heights. This is a full-time, onsite position offering 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate must have prior school experience and be dedicated to supporting students in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Sign Language Interpretation for students in a school setting
• Support students with hearing impairments to ensure access to classroom instruction and activities
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to meet the individual communication needs of students
• Ensure effective communication between students, educators, and peers

Qualifications:

• Minimum EIPA Score of 3.5+
• Must hold ISBE Professional Educator License with Interpreter endorsement
• Prior school experience required
• Ability to work onsite (no remote options)

Hourly Rate: $40+ per hour
