Atlanta, Georgia - 1:1 School Sign Language Interpreter Contract Job
This is a full-time contract position with consistent hours during the school week. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, flexibility, and compassion to support a student’s daily learning through American Sign Language. Prior experience in school settings is a plus. Georgia certification required.
Candidates without proper education licensure cannot be considered for positions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language ( ASL) or Educational Interpreting
- Must hold an active SLI National Certification
- Certifications: EIPA, RID, and NIC : EIPA: Educational Interpreter Performance Assessments
- School Systems look for scores between 3.0 - 4.0
- RID: Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf
