Blazerjobs is seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide virtual interpretation services for students in K-12 educational settings. If you have an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher and experience working in schools, this is a great opportunity to support students while working from the comfort of your home.

Position Overview:

• Location: Birmingham
• Caseload: K-12 students
• Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
• Responsibilities:
• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) during classes
• Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff
• Support students’ educational success by ensuring they understand course material
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times

Qualifications:

• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Minimum 2 years of experience interpreting in educational settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with virtual platforms
• Reliable internet connection for seamless virtual work
