We are actively hiring a certified Sign Language Interpreter in Clovis, a vibrant and family-friendly city located in the Central Valley near Fresno, to provide in-school communication access to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

State and Federal Requirements:

• Certification through the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) or RID/NAD

• California Department of Education compliance for school interpreting roles

• Strong proficiency in ASL and English

• DOJ fingerprint/background clearance

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Description/Duties:

• Provide interpreting services between students, staff, and others using ASL

• Facilitate communication in classrooms, meetings, and school activities

• Support students in understanding and participating in instruction

• Collaborate with teachers and IEP teams to promote student success
