? Location: Westover, MD
? Duration: Rest of School Year (Possible Extension)
? Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week, Monday – Friday

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide interpretation services to our deaf or hard of hearing students. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive school district and make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

? Provide interpretation services for classroom discussions and activities
? Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure students' communication needs are met
? Translate information between English and American Sign Language (ASL)
? Support students in participating fully in the classroom
? Collaborate with the educational team to ensure student success

Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s Degree in ASL or Educational Interpreting
? Fluency in ASL (American Sign Language)
? EIPA score required
? School experience preferred
