Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Contracted Sign Language Interpreter to join our partner school district in Fort Smith, AR.

Position Details:

• 1:1 support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

• Moderate to severe communication needs (non-aggressive)

• Full time

• Onsite

• Caseload details will be discussed at the time of the interview directly with the district

Requirements:

• Valid Arkansas Interpreter License issued by the Arkansas Board of Licensure for Professional Interpreters and Transliterators (ABLIT)

• Minimum of an Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher or RID certification preferred

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

• Previous experience in K–12 educational settings preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
