Sign Language Interpreter in Hamilton, GA

The district is seeking dedicated professionals interested in working full-time (at least 37.5 hours per week), with some flexibility for part-time arrangements depending on candidate availability.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Educator Certification for Sign Language Interpreters with an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Alternatively, candidates who are SLI paraprofessionals with close EIPA scores and a commitment to retake the exam are welcome (potential transition to full SLI within the year)
• Experience in educational or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable completing and maintaining accurate daily service documentation logs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation services to students within the school environment
• Collaborate directly with school staff and participate in interviews to discuss preferences and experience with various age groups and caseloads
