Job Description
We are hiring a Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Houston, TX. This contract role involves providing individualized instruction and support to students with IEPs. Classroom experience is not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing differentiated instruction
- Collaborating with general educators and support staff
- Writing and maintaining IEPs in compliance with IDEA
- Conducting assessments and monitoring progress
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas SPED teaching certification
- Familiarity with IDEA and Texas SPED requirements
- Cleared state and national background checks
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
