Sign Language Interpreter Contract Job (SLI) - Maple Valley, Washington
We are seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter for an immediate, full-time role supporting a student who requires ASL interpreting in a school setting. This contract continues through the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and passionate about ensuring student access to learning.
Candidates without proper education licensure cannot be considered for positions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language ( ASL) or Educational Interpreting
- Must hold an active SLI National Certification
- Certifications: EIPA, RID, and NIC : EIPA: Educational Interpreter Performance Assessments
- School Systems look for scores between 3.0 - 4.0
- RID: Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf
