Job Opportunity: 1:1 Sign Language Interpreter
Location: Northbrook, IL
We are currently hiring a 1:1 Sign Language Interpreter for one of our elementary school students. Join a supportive school district that prioritizes growth and collaboration!
Position Details:
- ASAP - May 2025
- Full-time: 8:30 - 3:30
- Caseload: 1:1 with elementary school student
- Support a student who is visually impaired and deaf, and accesses sign language through a limited visual field. Tactile sign language is not required.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
- SLI Certification in IL
- Must hold the ISBE Educational Interpreter approval
- Is flexible, adaptable, and willing to collaborate with a creative and dynamic team of special education and general education staff.
