Position: Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)

We are seeking a Sign Language Interpreter to support students and staff in Oroville, CA for the 25/26 school year. This role is vital to ensuring that students with hearing impairments can fully participate in their educational programs.

Job Requirements:

• Valid California Sign Language Interpreter certification or equivalent

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

• Experience interpreting in an educational setting preferred

Job Duties:

• Provide real-time sign language interpretation for students and staff

• Support communication between students, teachers, and peers

• Assist with classroom activities and meetings as needed

• Collaborate with special education teams and families
