Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Pawhuska, OK

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.5 EIPA Certification required
• Experience working in educational or school settings strongly preferred
• Ability to provide both voice-to-sign and sign-to-voice interpreting
• Adaptability to work both onsite (preferred) and virtually (VOCO considered)
• Professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services between students, teachers, and staff according to Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment by facilitating accessible participation
• Collaborate with educators and support personnel to enhance student engagement and success
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interpreting assignments
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records as necessary

• Location: Middle school campus setting
• Schedule: Part-time roles available, either 8:30 am12:00 pm or 12:00 pm3:30 pm Central, with the potential to transition into full-time hours as needs grow
