• Start Date: Immediate or Upcoming School Year

Qualifications & Requirements:

To qualify, candidates must meet all Arizona state and district-level requirements, including:

• Valid Arizona Department of Education Interpreting Certificate (Provisional or Standard)

• Current RID Certification (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) or Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher

• Fingerprint clearance card

• Relevant experience in educational settings preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

What You'll Do:

• Provide real-time interpretation between students, staff, and faculty using American Sign Language (ASL)

• Support student access to academic content and social interaction

• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families

• Assist in adapting communication strategies to fit student needs and classroom settings

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all educational settings
