Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and committed Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join a dynamic school team in Seattle, WA for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time role supports communication access for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in an inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time interpreting for students in academic settings

  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers

  • Interpret classroom instruction, activities, and school-related events

  • Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical standards of interpretation

  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet student needs


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred)

  • Completion of an Interpreter Training Program (ITP)

  • Washington state certification or licensure as an Educational Interpreter

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
