In this on-site position, youll work 37.5 hours each week from Monday through Friday, focusing your skills one-on-one to ensure the students full participation in both academic and social experiences at school.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Educational Interpreter/GaPSC Certification
• RID Certification or an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Previous school-based interpreting experience is preferred
• Ability to commit to full-time, on-site work throughout the academic year
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and impartial sign language interpreting services for all school-related activities, including classroom instruction, school events, and interactions with peers and staff
• Foster understanding and inclusion by adapting interpreting strategies to the students needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to promote the students academic growth and engagement
• Maintain professional standards of confidentiality, ethics, and cultural sensitivity at all times
