Speech Language Pathologist in Andover, KS

An excellent contract opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist! This urgent, short-term assignment provides a highly flexible schedule and the chance to support young learners. Work just 2 days per week (14-16 hours) at a welcoming elementary school, either on-site or virtually, depending on your preference. Youll provide essential coverage for a colleague on maternity leave and collaborate to deliver quality speech services to a diverse group of Pre-K and early childhood students, including those utilizing AAC devices.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC credentials
• Experience in school settings, especially with early childhood or Pre-K populations
• Familiarity or interest in working with AAC devices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to begin as soon as possible and commit through 12/21/26
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a shared assignment

What Youll Do:

• Provide assessment, therapy, and consultation for a manageable, school-based caseload, primarily early learners
• Coordinate services and split responsibilities with the current SLP on MAT leave two days per week
• Contribute to IEPs and student progress monitoring
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with staff and families
• Engage with students in person or virtually, adapting to individual needs
