Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Antioch, IL Area
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Antioch, IL area. We are looking for dedicated professionals committed to supporting student communication needs and academic achievement.

Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following state and district requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (Non-Teaching) endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates may be considered

• Completion of required background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by the school district

• Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs

• Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings

• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals

• Monitor and document student progress and therapy outcomes

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning and goal setting
