School Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed

Job Posting: Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Arcadia, FL (2025–2026 School Year)

Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive team within school districts in the Arcadia, FL area. This position is for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year, beginning August 4, 2025, and ending May 28, 2026.

We are seeking qualified and dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in students’ lives. Renewal for the following school year is based on performance.

Position Details:

• Location: Arcadia, FL area

• Schedule: Full-time, school-based

• Contract Dates: August 4, 2025 – May 28, 2026

Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following state and local requirements to be considered:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license

• Valid Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Certification in Speech-Language Impaired (or eligibility)

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, CFY candidates may be considered

• Ability to pass a Level II background check and drug screening

• School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to K–12 students

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine therapy needs

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
