Now Hiring: Hybrid School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist – Houston, TX
Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a difference in the lives of students? We’re hiring a school-based SLP for a hybrid role in vibrant Houston, Texas. This unique position blends on-site services with the flexibility of remote work, offering a balanced and rewarding professional experience.
Position Overview:
As a member of our collaborative educational team, you’ll support students’ speech and language development through individualized care and evidence-based practices. This hybrid model allows you to work directly with students in-person while also leveraging teletherapy tools to provide remote support when needed.
Duties Will Include:
Conducting comprehensive speech/language assessments and evaluations
Creating and managing IEPs in partnership with families and school staff
Delivering speech therapy in both face-to-face and virtual settings
Consulting with educators and parents to promote skill generalization
Accurately documenting sessions and progress reports
Participating in IEP meetings, trainings, and school-wide initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Current (or eligible) Texas state SLP licensure
CCC from ASHA is strongly preferred
Experience in K-12 settings or a strong desire to work with children
Tech-savvy and comfortable using virtual platforms for service delivery
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
