Speech Language Pathologist in Auburn, WA

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to make a meaningful impact in a supportive elementary school setting! Step into a temporary, onsite contract position supporting a caseload of about 40 students, fostering their communication skills and academic success throughout the school year.

This contract runs from September 2, 2026, through February 15, 2027, and requires 32.5 hours onsite each week. The role is based at a vibrant elementary campus, serving students who do not require AAC devices or specialized medically fragile care. You will also collaborate with the behavior program on site, providing essential support to students with behavioral needs.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Active WA SLP license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain prior to start
• WA ESA certificate required, or willing to pursue upon hire
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• SLP-CCC certification
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Comfort working with a variety of elementary-aged students
• Ability to complete OSPI fingerprinting/background check

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to approximately 40 students
• Contribute to IEP meetings and student progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
• Support the behavioral program and adapt communication strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
