Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Auburn, WA

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Washington
• Previous experience working with students in school settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage caseloads and engage in IEP development
• Familiarity with assessment tools, therapy techniques, and documentation procedures for school-age children

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with IEPs
• Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs, both individually and in groups
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with school and professional standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Offer consultation and resources to school staff to enhance communication supports within the classroom
