About Your Role & the District:
We are seeking SLPs committed to student success within a collaborative and supportive district that truly values its therapists. You'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing the best educational experience.
- Hybrid or Onsite Flexibility:
- 1 Full-Time SLP Position: Hybrid or onsite – minimum 3 days onsite required.
- 1 Part-Time SLP Position: 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders.
Developing and implementing data-driven Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals.
Providing direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
Collaborating seamlessly with teachers, parents, and other school personnel.
Monitoring student progress, collecting data, and adjusting treatment plans effectively.
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and participating in all relevant meetings.
Utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal student outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active Maryland educator license in Speech-Language Pathology is required (willingness to obtain licensure in working state is essential for all travel roles).
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
