About Your Role & the District:

We are seeking SLPs committed to student success within a collaborative and supportive district that truly values its therapists. You'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing the best educational experience.

  • Hybrid or Onsite Flexibility:
  • 1 Full-Time SLP Position: Hybrid or onsite – minimum 3 days onsite required.
  • 1 Part-Time SLP Position: 20 hours per week.
  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Developing and implementing data-driven Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals.
  • Providing direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with teachers, parents, and other school personnel.
  • Monitoring student progress, collecting data, and adjusting treatment plans effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and participating in all relevant meetings.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal student outcomes.

    Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland educator license in Speech-Language Pathology is required (willingness to obtain licensure in working state is essential for all travel roles).
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
