Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Barre, VT
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Barre, VT area. This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential communication support to students in a collaborative and rewarding educational setting.
Requirements (State & Local Compliance):
Applicants must meet all Vermont Agency of Education and Office of Professional Regulation requirements, including:
Hold a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field
Possess a valid Vermont Agency of Education Educator License with an Endorsement #84 – Speech-Language Pathologist
Maintain a current Vermont Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Office of Professional Regulation
Have prior experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting
Complete and pass all required background checks:
Vermont Criminal Background Check
Fingerprint-supported FBI background check
Comply with district-specific onboarding and training requirements

Typical Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student development
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
