Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Barre, VT

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Barre, VT area. This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential communication support to students in a collaborative and rewarding educational setting.

Requirements (State & Local Compliance):
Applicants must meet all Vermont Agency of Education and Office of Professional Regulation requirements, including:

  • Hold a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field

  • Possess a valid Vermont Agency of Education Educator License with an Endorsement #84 – Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Maintain a current Vermont Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Office of Professional Regulation

  • Have prior experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting

  • Complete and pass all required background checks:

    • Vermont Criminal Background Check

    • Fingerprint-supported FBI background check

  • Comply with district-specific onboarding and training requirements

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings

  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student development

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
