Position Overview:

Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in Bel Air, MD. This full-time school-year role is open to both local candidates seeking a consistent placement and travel clinicians wanting flexibility and competitive rates.

You’ll serve students from PreK–12 with speech, language, communication, and feeding needs. Responsibilities include evaluations, IEP development, therapy delivery, and progress monitoring in collaboration with families and educators.

Employment Options:

1. Local Path (W?2 through Blazer Jobs):

• 9-month school-year placement

• Weekly pay: $42–$55/hour, based on experience & credentials

2. Travel Path (W?2 with Perks or 1099):

• Flexible contracts + licensure support

• Weekly gross: $1,680–$2,200+, depending on stipends & hours worked

• Housing stipend & per diem (if eligible)

• Travel reimbursement

• Licensure & credentialing support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to K–12 students individually and in groups

• Conduct evaluations and assist with eligibility determination

• Develop and maintain IEPs per Maryland guidelines

• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families

• Maintain timely documentation of all services and assessments

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Active Maryland SLP license (or eligibility)

• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CF fellows welcome

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Background check & fingerprint clearance
