Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid ABESPA Alabama SLP Certification and/or Alabama SLP DOE Certification (can start with one while awaiting the other)
  • Current CCC-SLP credentials
  • Experience in school-based SLP roles, grades 36 preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a new environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech-language therapy to students in grades 36
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop IEPs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Foster positive, supportive relationships with students and staff
