Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must meet all Georgia state and local certification requirements, including:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Georgia SLP license issued by the Georgia Regulation and Licensing Department
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) supervision eligibility
Completion of required clinical hours or internships
Background check and fingerprint clearance through the Georgia Public Education Department
School-based experience preferred, but not required

Typical Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services in alignment with students’ IEP goals
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with state and district regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized goal planning and monitoring
