Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree or higher in speech-language pathology, speech-language and hearing sciences, communication sciences and disorders, or a closely related field
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Minnesota
  • Experience working with children and school-aged students preferred
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and progress documentation
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and communication skills using standardized tools and observations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve speech, language, and social communication abilities
  • Maintain detailed and confidential student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate goals into daily classroom activities
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute recommendations for services
  • Provide both direct and consultative services to students with a wide range of communication needs
  • Facilitate small group or individual sessions as appropriate
