Speech Language Pathologist in California, MD

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Maryland
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest working in school-based settings
• Ability to manage a diverse K-8 caseload
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Collaborative and adaptable approach within multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students in both elementary and middle school settings
• Conduct screenings and assessments, and monitor students progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
• Complete required documentation and progress reports promptly and accurately
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support meetings, and professional development
