Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to a vibrant elementary school community for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-based opportunity focuses on covering a maternity leave, providing essential speech and language services to elementary-aged students. Youll be working closely with an experienced SLPA who shares in the caseload, ensuring collaborative support and student-centered care. The assignment runs from November 2026 through March 2027, with consistent weekday hours to support your work-life balance.

Ideal applicants are passionate about fostering communication skills and self-confidence in young learners and have all required Massachusetts credentials in place prior to starting. Those without clinical fellowship experience (CF) will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Speech and Hearing Disabilities license (all levels) from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
  • Massachusetts Board of Allied Health license (active or eligible)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Experience supporting elementary student populations in a school setting
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, ready to work with both staff and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy and interventions for an assigned elementary caseload at a single school site
  • Conduct assessments, develop and execute IEPs, maintain student records
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and the supporting SLPA
  • Communicate progress and strategies with families and the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain professional standards and adhere to ethical guidelines
