Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Cambridge, MD

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Cambridge, Maryland. We are interviewing qualified professionals who are passionate about helping students achieve communication and academic success.

Position Details:

• Location: Cambridge, MD

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract

• Start Date: Upcoming school year

• Contract Renewal: May be offered based on performance

Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP or CFY with strong experience)

• Must meet all state and district requirements for school-based SLPs

• Preferred: Prior experience working with special education students and their families

• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech-language impairments

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student communication development

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and assessments

• Support language and communication strategies across various school environments
