Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow - West Palm Beach, Florida

Assignments span multiple campuses, allowing you to contribute to various elementary, middle, and special education environments. Caseloads and student age groups vary by school and assignment, offering exposure to diverse populations and communication needs.

Qualifications:

• Active FL provisional SLP License from the Department of Health required
• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Completion of graduate coursework and practicum qualifying for CFY
• Eligibility for U.S. school district employment: successful completion of a credentialing process, including fingerprinting and internal video interview
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical problem-solving abilities
• Eagerness to accept supervision and feedback while developing independent practice
• Previous school-based experience or pediatric experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech/language therapy services to students as assigned
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized interventions in a school-based setting
• Collaborate with supervising SLP-CCC, special education teams, teachers, and families
• Develop and implement IEP-based therapy plans, document progress, and participate in eligibility meetings
• Consult with staff regarding AAC, social communication, and language development as needed
• Attend supervision sessions to meet CFY licensure requirements
