South Carolina School Districts Hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2025–2026 School Year – Join Blazer Jobs
Blazer Jobs is working with public school districts across South Carolina to recruit qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. If you’re committed to helping students improve their communication skills and want to work in an engaging, team-based school environment, this opportunity may be the right fit.
SLPs play an essential role in supporting student success throughout South Carolina’s school system. From conducting evaluations to delivering therapy and participating in special education teams, you’ll help ensure students receive services tailored to their speech and language needs.
We are currently placing SLPs in a variety of districts, including Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Spartanburg, Rock Hill, and surrounding areas.
Conduct speech and language evaluations that follow South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) standards
Provide therapy aligned with each student’s IEP goals, both individually and in small group settings
Develop and adjust treatment plans to meet student needs and monitor progress
Document services and maintain compliance with federal and state special education laws (including IDEA)
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and families
Supervise SLP Assistants as allowed under South Carolina licensing regulations
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Active or eligible South Carolina SLP license through the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Familiarity with school-based therapy and the IEP process
Previous experience in a public school or pediatric setting preferred
Must complete background checks and meet local district credentialing requirements
Openings available for both full-time and part-time schedules
Contract positions follow the 2025–2026 school calendar (August–June)
