Blazer Jobs is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district near Chesapeake, Virginia for the 2025–2026 school year. This opportunity offers professionals the chance to provide impactful therapy to students and collaborate with experienced school staff. Virtual and travel roles may be available.
Position Overview:
SLPs in this role will provide therapy services to students with communication challenges, contributing directly to academic and developmental success. Applicants open to remote work or travel-based assignments are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities Include:
Evaluate students and create individualized treatment plans
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
Contribute to IEP processes and parent meetings
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Licensed by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
Must hold or be eligible for Virginia Department of Education licensure
CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
