Blazer Jobs partners with school districts nationwide to connect skilled clinicians with meaningful careers in education. We are currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in Chesapeake, VA schools for the 2025–2026 school year.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for K–12 students

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide direct therapy and consultative services

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with Virginia state and district standards

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain; support provided)

• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CF candidates encouraged to apply

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Compensation & Benefits

Local Contracts (W-2)

• $53–$62/hour (based on experience and credentials)

• Weekly direct deposit

• $1,794–$2,070 weekly gross pay (including stipends)
