Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Maternity Leave Coverage | Cincinnati, OH
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract opportunity in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. This role will provide maternity leave coverage for the 2025–2026 school year, with contract dates from August 4, 2025, through November 7, 2025.
This is a great opportunity for a licensed SLP seeking short-term placement in a supportive school environment.
Position Details

Key Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
Qualifications & Requirements
All applicants must meet Ohio state and district requirements, including:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Valid Ohio SLP license issued by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board
Active Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License
Completion of state and district background checks
School-based experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Qualifications & Requirements
All applicants must meet New Mexico state and local licensure and certification requirements, including:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Valid New Mexico SLP license issued by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices Board)
Current or eligible New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) licensure
Prior school-based and teletherapy experience preferred
Strong communication, technology, and organizational skills
Reliable internet connection and secure, professional home workspace
