Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based | Local & Travel Options | Conroe, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel W-2 Contract
Pay Range: $43–$55/hour (local) | $1,800–$2,400/week (travel)

Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support one of our trusted school district partners in the Conroe, TX area. This is a full-time, school-based position open to both local and travel professionals who are passionate about empowering students through communication and learning.

About the Role

As an SLP, you’ll provide direct services and support for students from PreK through high school. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide therapy, conduct evaluations, contribute to IEPs, and help students achieve their communication goals.

Employment Options

Local Path (W-2)

• 9-month school-year placement

• $43–$55/hour (based on experience and credentials)

• $1,800–$2,400/week gross (taxable + stipends)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group speech therapy to K–12 students on-site

• Conduct evaluations and interpret assessment results

• Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

• ASHA CCCs preferred; strong CFs welcome

• Prior school-based experience preferred

• Must pass background and fingerprint clearance
