Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based contract position. This role provides the opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment, making a difference in students' lives. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active SLPA state license.
- Must meet all state and local regulatory requirements for SLPA practice.
- Experience with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Key Job Duties:
- Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver speech therapy services, implementing treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Accurately document therapy sessions and student progress, reporting results to the supervising SLP and participating in relevant meetings.
- Work with educators, families, and other staff members to support students' communication development and facilitate their academic and social success.
