Speech Language Pathologist in Davison, MI

Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in mid-Michigan. While fully credentialed SLPs are highly preferred, outstanding CFYs with appropriate Michigan licensure and an established supervisor may also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Michigan (temporary license required for CFYs)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong consideration for qualified CFs with supervision
• Must provide an official copy of university transcripts prior to being submitted for the role
• Comfortable working across K-12 age ranges; assignment locations may vary between Grand Blanc, Lansing, Detroit, and surrounding areas
• Insight into, or willingness to learn about, the challenges faced by urban children and applicable community resources
• Strong commitment to onsite service delivery; select remote opportunities for candidates with exceptional experience

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech/language and communication disorders in a school environment
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student success and family engagement
• Maintain thorough documentation, tracking progress and recommendations
• Adapt approach to meet the unique needs of each student and school community
