Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Licensure
  • Current Colorado Speech Language Pathologist state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, SLP-CF candidates welcome
  • Please Note: This position is NOT open to Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Experience in school-based speech and language services preferred
  • Knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP processes
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills across communication disorders
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) strongly preferred for designated positions
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Valid background check and fingerprint clearance required

Position Overview

Available Positions

Position 1: Full-Time Bilingual SLP - Child Find & Bilingual Consultation Team

  • Specialized role supporting district-wide bilingual assessment and consultation services
  • Conduct evaluations for students with diverse linguistic backgrounds
  • Provide consultation services to support bilingual students across multiple school sites
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex assessment cases

Position 2: Elementary School Preschool Program - Full Time

  • Dedicated preschool speech and language services
  • Focus on early intervention and developmental communication skills
  • Work with children ages 3-5 in specialized preschool settings
  • Collaborate with early childhood education teams and families

Position 3: Elementary Preschool through Grade 5 - Full Time

  • Comprehensive speech and language services spanning early childhood through elementary
  • Diverse caseload including preschool through 5th grade students
  • Opportunity to work across developmental stages and communication needs
  • Integration with general education and special education programming

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
  • Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning conferences
  • Provide consultation services to support classroom teachers and staff
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
