School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Destin, Florida

Make a difference in students lives as a passionate Speech Language Pathologist on a contract assignment in the beautiful North Florida Panhandle. This in-person, school-based opportunity spans the academic year from August 11, 2026, through June 1, 2027. Work within a supportive educational environment where your expertise will help shape communication and language development for school-aged children. Two dedicated professionals are needed to fill these rewarding roles, which offer full-time hoursup to 37.5 hours weekly. Caseload specifics, including assigned schools and age groups, will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active FL DOH Provisional SLP License required
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Experience providing a range of speech and language therapy services
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions onsite
• Screen, assess, and diagnose communication disorders
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists
• Support students across multiple campuses as required by caseload
• Foster an inclusive and motivating learning environment
