Job Overview – What You’ll Do:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide data-driven evaluations for students
Collaborate with IEP teams to interpret testing results and recommend appropriate support services
Offer behavioral consultation, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support
Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and other student-focused initiatives
Partner with educators, families, and support staff to promote student well-being and academic success
Maintain accurate documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and uphold compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications & Certifications (Illinois Requirements):
Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Psychology
Must meet state requirements for school-based psychological services
Experience with IEP processes, assessments, and behavioral intervention preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills required
