Job Overview – What You’ll Do:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K–12 students in a school-based setting
Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and develop IEP goals
Work with students one-on-one and in small groups to support speech and language development
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote academic achievement and communication growth
Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
Qualifications & Certifications (Illinois Requirements):
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
