Job Overview – What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K–12 students in a school-based setting

  • Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and develop IEP goals

  • Work with students one-on-one and in small groups to support speech and language development

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote academic achievement and communication growth

  • Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress

Qualifications & Certifications (Illinois Requirements):

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • Active license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
